Unpacking Food Systems and Demystifying Energy Supplies
January 16-17, 2020
Johnson County Community College
Overland Park, KS
Designed to help faculty from all disciplines make connections to sustainability within their curriculum, this two-day workshop will guide participants through group work, discussion, and learning lab exercises. Together we will explore using food systems and energy supplies as two complex but essential examples to make sustainability relatable to students entering any field. It will be a fun and inspiring opportunity to workshop with colleagues from your own institutions, as well as share with and learn from those at peer institutions in the region.
Your registration fee includes breakfast and lunch for each day of the workshop.
Please include any dietary concerns in the registration form.
We welcome your questions about the event, registration, programming details, and lodging via email at
sustainability@jccc.edu.
