Program fee includes airfare, lodging, in-country transportation, some meals, visa fees if applicable, and activity entrance fees. This does NOT include Alamo Colleges tuition, passport fees, books, most meals, mandatory vaccines, baggage fees, materials, and spending money. Financial Aid is available. 

Program Cancellation 

Each program has a minimum enrollment of 10 participants.  Once accepted to a program, students must officially notify the Study Abroad Office, IN WRITING VIA EMAIL at DST-STUDYABROAD@ALAMO.EDU, if they wish to withdraw.  It is NOT SUFFICIENT to withdraw an application on-line, or to fail to complete requirements.

Withdrawal Prior to the Start of the Program

Students who commit to a faculty-led program will be billed a non-refundable $200 application fee. Commitment to the program means that students will be responsible for ALL program costs, even if they withdraw later.  Monies that have not been committed on behalf of the student, minus the non-refundable deposit may be refunded. 

Withdrawal After the Program Has Started

No refunds of any kind are made once participants have arrived at the program site and begun the program, except in the case of extremely serious and verifiable health matters. In that case, monies that have not been committed on behalf of the student, minus the non-refundable deposit may be refunded.
