International Application Fee
New International Students

International Student Applications will not be process until application processing fee is received and paid. Please email dst-studyabroad@alamo.edu for additional information.

Payment deadlines will vary among the study abroad program trips. Please check individual program.

All persons seeking admission holding non-permanent visas will be processed as International Students. Applicants for F-1 student visas, or F-1 visa students transferring from a high school, college, or university in the United States, must submit in person or by mail a completed International Student Application Form and pay a $100.00 processing fee. Please print receipt and mail a copy with your International Application Packet.

• Write down your ApplyTexas.org application ID on your International Student Application

• Application must be completed signed and returned along with the following information on this checklist to:

3.___ Financial Statements

We will accept copies of your financial documents; however we will not accept copies sent by fax. At your visa interview you must provide the official financial documents to the US Embassy or Consulate Officer.

Student-$20,000

 Provide official bank letters. Letter should be recent (within 60 days) and must have the additional information required listed on the Financial Resource Requirements (page8)

 Bank statements will not be accepted

 Affidavit of Support- Immigration may require, keep a copy for your records Spouse/Children-$5,000 per dependent

4.____ Official Academic Record (high school and/or college)

• Original documents from high schools or all colleges/universities attended

• Original translation and evaluation of foreign transcripts by an organization the meets the quality guidelines endorsed by the National Associate of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)

• Visit www.naces.org to locate NACES member organizations for translation and evaluation.

5.____ English Proficiency -TOEFL or IELTS Scores

TOEFL/IELTS Scores are required to enroll in college courses. If no TOEFL/IELTS scores student will be required to take an English Proficiency Exam to determine if eligible for English as a Second Language Course.
